My Gallery Show in Vernon ,Texas 2009
The most amazing day .. I have my own one man/woman Art Gallery show.. The Red River Valley Museum has featured me as their Artist from now .. August 7th through September 11.. The set up was Awesome .. I am so pleased .. I worked extraordinarily long and hard to pull this together.. Some you will see that were from my Challenges and are not for sale .. they are my own Private collection and I will keep them for my own home .. Others were from The great depression Series I did this year along with the Native American Indian Series.. The classic cars were done as an addition to the Summer’s Last Blast that was here in Vernon for the week end of the 7th through the 10th.. I made the paper in Vernon as well as the one in Wichita Falls Texas.. I was so thrilled .. I am posting a few photo’s and hopfully will add some better ones as I go along..
Carol, I am glad that your paintings finally made it to where they belong: a museum, an art gallery. Your series of American Natives and the Great depression are outstanding; I am never tired of coming over and over again through these paintings; each time I see them, I appreciate your art and your masterful touch.
